💭 Create your document

Start creating your document by clicking the “Create New” button, and choose “Generate” to let the AI help you through the document creation process, Gamma gives you three options to choose from: Either a presentation deck, a document, or a web page.

Consider the following instance, let’s say you want to create a presentation, the next steps are as easy as your signing-up process.

✍️ Fill in your prompt

After you choose “Presentation” as your desired document type, you’ll need to write down your prompt for the presentation you want to create, the trick here is to make it the most detailed, Making sure to provide as much information as possible.

Suppose that your presentation is about “The future of the advertising market”, your prompt should have more than just the topic, insert details of the types of content you want, the length of it, the tone of voice you want your presentation to be written in…etc.

For this example we’ve chosen, the prompt could be: “I want a comprehensive presentation written in simple language about the future of the advertising market in the US, include visual representations of data as charts and structure the content in short sentences”.

Once you’ve finished detailing your prompt, you can hit “Enter”. At this point, Gamma whips up a presentation outline based on your prompt.

📄 Edit the document outline

Now that you have an initial presentation outline, you can edit, delete, or add any section you need into the outline field to personalize your final presentation and get closer to your desired outcome.

Additionally, you can explore more AI-generated outlines by clicking “Try again” until you’re satisfied with the results. When you’re happy with the output, click “Continue”.

🎨 Choose your desired theme

This is the fun part where you pick a theme for your presentation. While Gamma works its magic to process information and craft the document, you’ll find a host of themes on the right side of the screen. The themes come with different color schemes, fonts, and backgrounds for you to choose from.

After you’ve picked your theme, Simply click “Continue” to unveil the magic.

🪄 Personalize to your needs

Ever spent hours making your deck look nice or wanted to change the template you chose halfway into making a presentation and dreaded the prospect of copying and pasting content and fiddling with font sizes? Gamma eliminates all that.

The presentation outcome is typically great, yet you can always infuse your personal touch to the presentation by easily clicking on individual components or slides and experimenting with the different tools in the right sidebar allowing you to personalize your style and brand and make the presentation truly yours.

With the sidebar, you have the power to:

• Edit with AI: If you want to make alterations, click on the component you wish to edit. Then, input a prompt for the desired changes and hit “Enter”.

• Adjust layout and text formatting.

• Select from diverse images: Gamma scours the web to find relevant images for your searches.

• Embed videos, apps, and webpages: Gamma supports platforms like Loom, YouTube, Vimeo, and more.

• Incorporate forms and buttons: You can integrate data from sources like Airtable, Typeform, Google Form, and beyond.
